Water speaks continuously and never repeats itself

Octavio Paz

An underwater photographer since my childhood, I’ve made my passion my profession. Photography is the art of seeing the world differently. The endless possibility to create again and again new images, new worlds...

My story

I have always lived near the sea. My parents surely passed on the passion they had for it. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence that I’m a Pisces, but I’ve always swum. I started with baby swimming classes and then took swimming lessons. I really didn’t enjoy doing laps in the pool. I needed freedom. I began synchronized swimming at the age of 7 after seeing the mermaid show "Sirella" by Muriel Hermine. I then won many sports titles, but I dreamed of transforming into a mermaid to travel the oceans. My mother would tell you that I become unbearable if I can’t find a body of water to "dip" into every day.

Sea, lake, river, quarry... every small space with water attracts me.

I made my aquatic experience my difference. My ease in the water allows me to go beyond certain limits, and I’m still far from having explored them all. Underwater, everything is different. Weightlessness, yes, but also the colors, the sounds, the vibrations, and the energies. The aquatic photography experience is truly unique. It’s also exploratory, and that’s what I love.

Because in water, you can’t predict everything as you can on land.

One must work with the element and use it as a source of creation.
