PRINTEMPS DE DUCONTENIA

I’m delighted to announce that one of my photographs has been selected for the exhibition-competition “Le Printemps de Ducontenia / Dukonteneko Primadera”, organized by the city of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the beautiful setting of the Ducontenia villa and park.

Out of 236 submissions across painting, sculpture, and photography, the jury selected 58 works for the 2025 edition. It’s a wonderful recognition to have my work included in this artistic selection.

This free and open-air exhibition invites the public on an artistic walk throughout the month of April, blending nature and creativity. The route was designed to highlight each piece in a sensitive dialogue with the surrounding environment.

As part of pregnancy photo sessions, I find deep meaning in the fusion of the miracle of life with the liquid element. Capturing these unique moments where life develops in an aquatic environment offers an extraordinary perspective. The body of the expectant mother, surrounded by the fluidity of the water, evokes a harmonious symbiosis between maternity and nature. The graceful movements and organic shapes create a visual canvas that tells a unique story with each shot. Water becomes the silent witness to the transition, offering a space where the softness of maternity blends with the tranquility of the aquatic environment. Each session thus becomes an artistic adventure, capturing the very essence of life in the making, in all its beauty and grace, at the heart of this aquatic world that continues to inspire me.
